YoungCancerSpouses receives
501(c)(3) nonprofit status
In early May of 2007, we received our determination letter from the IRS stating that we have met the Federal
guidelines for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status retroactive to our date of incorporation in the State of
Texas-June 10, 2006. This means we are able to accept tax-deductible donations. This nonprofit status will
significantly enhance our ability to raise money to defray our costs and implement new programs in the future.
